The Mystery of the Falling Dill....

It started a few weeks ago...

My dill was bent over...

so I did my best to straighten it back up. It would be fine for a few days...then falling over again...

This process has went on over & over for weeks...

and it continued...

It sits in a pot on top of my potting bench & only seemed to be affected during nitetime hours....

WHAT could be doing this??

Well, hubby saw what was causing the problem a few nights ago & tonite I caught the culprit in action:

My sweet little Hummie (he hums instead of meowing) apparently finds my dill the perfect spot to curl up & sleep at nite...ahhh....good thing I love him ~ AND I have another dill plant too thick for him to do this to ~ at least, I hope!!

What's funny is that it doesn't even look like a comfortable place to curl up!

Aren't cats incredible? Who would have thought. She doesn't even look that comfortable. Must be something in the smell.

hehe! He was actually sound asleep until I took a picture (the flash woke him) but that pic blurred & I had to take another. I told hubby he doesn't look that comfortable either, though! :)

Hi Lisa...how cute is that! Could be easily explained if he was sleeping in the catmint or catnip but DILL ????LOL!! My dill (reseeds itself and comes up all over the place)It did not do as well as normal this year. It is smaller than usual and has just now gone to seed. TOO MUCH RAIN I am thinking. I will call you this week so we can catch up...hopefully we will be back online soon. Hugs, Judy

Awww kitty loves sleeping on dill! Looks like a bit of a strange place for a cat to sleep. He looks like my kitty bonsai. Cats do strange things don't they. That's why I love them.
